The students argued for many things, among them the right to more representaton on the Board of Trustees, open dorms, course/faculty evaluatons, more control of student media, the right to drop courses, additon of Afro- American / black faculty and course work, and cigarete machines in the dorms. The students stayed in the library all day and night and negotated with the administraton. Many of the 25 demands were at least partally met.
