In 1928, a merger took place between Albright College (located in Myerstown, PA) and the Schuylkill College (on the grounds of present day Albright College) to become Albright College, located in Reading, Pennsylvania. When the new Albright College Library opened, it was housed in Selwyn Hall. The library’s collecton was small and concentrated more heavily on religion, philosophy, psychology, literature, mathematcs and the natural sciences. Most of the library materials consisted of books and journals that were collected from the original Myerstown and Reading campuses or were donated.
