Library services at that tme consisted of providing study space, i.e., a Reading Room, reference books, periodicals and a circulatng book collecton. Untl 1952, the library circulaton stacks were closed to the students. All requests for books were given to the circulaton desk for a student worker or staf person to retrieve.
